I got a famicon disk system,bought it a year ago on a flea market.
It was the disk system only anyway to find out if everything is ok without a famicon?

Try using it on a front loading NES with this method. You could also use a 60-72 pin converter on a toploader.

Or you could open it up and see if the belt is melted/broken. Did it come with the black RAM adapter?

I just bought a supposedly working FDS on ebay but have no way of checking if it works. The guy had good feedback though...

Thanks man, tell me the condition of the belt when you can.

You might want to look at a guide on opening it up, because the belt is beneath some circuit boards.

I might not be able to buy it if shipping cost from Europe is too high.

Look for the Turbobooster Plus instead. Same features as the original booster but with the excellent ability of battery gamesave.
