So I was talking with a friend about my blue Playstation and he said he has a see through red Dreamcast? I know of the millenium controllers and even found out about a very rare japanese see through red Biohazard Code Veronica Dreamcast(only 1800 made) but those would be NTSC-J right? He plays american games on his? Were there any other see through red ones? I'm gonna ask him the model number tomarrow. Would anyone know what the model number on the Biohazard one would be?
Thanx RASK1904:rockets:

I believe a company made a few see through shells in different colors (yellow, green, red etc)

I imagine your friend's is probably a shell, though.

Those particular DC shells have been out of production for a long time. I've been trying to find a black one for ages.

That is the same company I have with my red shell. There is an old pic floating around somewhere on video game collectors of mine.

I purchase so many of these shells back in the day...modded up a few of my friend's systems and my own as well. Surprising that they are so hard to find nowadays. Well, maybe not, since the DC has been dead for some time now.

Those ones in the picture, they totally didnt make the screw holes big enough, so I was always paranoid that I was going to clip the mobo or something (well mine and the ones that I put onto my friend's dc's)

Screw holes in replacement shells are rarely threaded, if ever.
I've had some tough times replacing GBC shells because of this.
It helps to have a decent assortment of tiny drill bits.

Nope, they are hard to find and very desirable in Japan as well. I got lucky on mine -- I snagged it just as a store put it on the shelf (one of the Den Den Town in Osaka shops, maybe A-Too). It was ~$200-220, IIRC.
$400 seems to be pretty much what they go for on Yahoo Auctions over the past year or so (there's been a couple pop up this year).

I'd sell mine for $500 shipped if I could get it that is.
