Well, the title says it all. I need the PS-One version (the small form system) because I have some space restrictions. I am not concerned about the type of mod chip installed as long as it does what a mod chip is made for. Looking forward to some offers:)

I'm not promoting "what a mod chip is made for" - but question: is there a slot in the back for the old plug in import/backup adapters?

No ,the small psone does not have this .

Unfortunately it does not. I would love the original PS1 with the expansion slot in the back but my 360, Wii, and PC take up most of the real estate in my home entertainment center. The only space I have left is the spot between the TV screen and the TV stand with very little open width available.
