Sega Saturn Pro Action Replay Memory Question

I have a 5-in-1 Pro Action Replay cart for my saturn, but when I try to play Vampire Savior I get a screen in Japanese saying something about 4MB memory. I assume it's complaining that it's not there, but the cart is supposed to have it on there (it says it does anyway). Could this mean the 4MB memory on the cart is bad? I don't think I have another 4MB game to test it on. It's not a knock off cart, it's the brand name one so I can't see why it wouldn't work unless something went wrong inside.

that is the one game that doesn't work with the 4m on that cart.. there is a design flaw in the 5 in 1 apparently. I've seen web pages that show you have to modify the 5 in 1 to work with the game. I think you have to cut a trace and solder a wire across some area.
