Hi guys,

I was hoping to find the answer for this via google first, but I've found conflicting reports. I was hoping one of you could help me?

I'd love to play Left 4 Dead with a couple buddies over XBox Live. I'd love to have my girlfriend play as well, but she lives here and shares an Xbox. The volume controls are a little wonky in the game and I can't get it to a point where we can both hear the zombies and our friends' voice chat if it's playing over the TV speaker.

If I picked up a second headset, would the audio from the voice chat play through both sets? I know only one would be able to talk back, but it'd be nice to know if we could at least both hear our teammates' tactics before I head to the store and pick up a second headset.

I'm hoping someone here worked through a similar problem already. Thanks in advance!
Austin

Someone was doing that last night in a game - pretty sure they could both hear us.

If you pick up a second headset and all get in the same XBL party, that should work. Also, I think just having a headset on the second controller will take it off the TV by default, but the party thing is just a further suggestion as I think that would be where you can mute people on each active profile and so on.

If she's on a guest profile, she'll be able to listen but not talk.

I do this with a lot of games.
If you both use active, gold, live accounts. You can use head sets. Otherwise, it won't work as a guest.
