Game Boy Tetris Complete In Box

I was checking the "Hard to find CIB gameboy games" and read about TETRIS. I have always consider it a very common game but sure is harder to get it complete.

I checked on ebay and could not find a price for a CIB Tetris, do yo have any idea of its value ?

I have sold a few japanese and american CIB this year for 15 usd "Buy It Now" ...

I can't see this game going for more than $15(if that) because of how many millions of copies there are out there. I have a loose one that I got for a $1 at Goodwill. For a complete one I wouldn't spend more than $7, but probably more likely $5 or less.

The thing is, there are so many of these because they were packed in with the original GameBoy (and later ones?) in perhaps the greatest pack-in package of all time. So, nobody had to buy the game. I don't actually have any experience with the rarity on it CIB myself, but I could certainly understand why it might be harder to find CIB.

Its actually alot tougher then you'd think to find this boxed, its as tough to find boxed as mario world, MUCH MUCH hard to find a non "million seller" version of it (both exist)

I would personally pay upwards of 50$ for a mint original, and 30-35$ for a million seller varient.
It wasn't sold for very long by itself, and was a million seller fast so you do the math there :-)

I thought the same about Tetris ... it is very common to find ... but the first time i saw the box of the original it seemed so unfamiliar and started looking on ebay for complete copies.

It was strange that i could not find a single copy on ebay :S

I think that 30 or 50 is a very good value for the original one in mint condition :D

Nah...it isn't that tough to find. I'd probably say closer to $10-$13 for a million-seller variant and around $17-$20 for an original. $30-$50? You have to be kidding.

I want a tetris CIB right now, would you sell me one for 17 or 20 ?, i can pay right now !!

This is one of the few games that you could not find on ebay or the chuckwagon, so if any copy goes on sale it will be hunted instantly.

speaking from someone who's searching for one (and who's not a cheap mofo) it is a very hard item to find and that is the price I "a person looking for said game" would be willing to pay for it ,which I beleive is what the original poster asked for., box rarity and game rarity are two totally different things.

but hey if you can even FIND a copy, feel free to sell it to me for 20$, i'd be more then happy to oblige you.

Game Boy collecting has become very popular just a couple of years ago and those hard to find games are really scarce now.

Wait a sec, eskobar...*you* are neonihonsei?! I had no idea this entire time... I was shown an auction of yours regarding an International Superstar Soccer (SNES) w/box that recently ended for next to nothing, and I nearly fainted at how cheaply it went. You get some pretty rare stuff in from time to time, and I do tend to watch a few of them, but I must've been sleeping or something on that ISS :p . Keep the good stuff rolling, man...we (and by "we", I mean myself and several at NintendoAge) usually have our eyes and ears open for this sort of thing :) . Also, if you get any more ISS or Super Copa or anything of the sort, send 'em my way :p .

I am neonihonsei.That auction ended very low but i hope that the buyer really appreciate the game :D

Right now i have only one game that can be interesting for you, ISS2000 complete :D
