I'm leaving to Georgetown Delaware(19947) for 10 days. Then going to Waterbury Conneticut(06708) for 3 and Time Square/ Central park, New York City for 1. Any retro gaming spots I should check out. I'm gonna stop by the Nintendo World store there. And hit up some thrift stores. I'm gonna google that shit right now but some inside info'd be good.
Thanx RASK1904:rockets:

I run an arcade in Connecticut, about an hour drive from Waterbury, and there's a small semi-retro game store about 20 - 25 min drive past that. If you're interested, I could give you more info. Let me know. Other than that, I don't really have much for you.

Video Games NY is not bad, IMO it is no Digital Press, but they do have a lot of stuff. It is very small, and crowded, and city parking is never easy, but since you will be in NYC why not. 202 E 6th St New York, NY 10003 212-539-1039 www.videogamesnewyork.com. you can always take NJ transit from the Pt. Authority at 42nd and 8th in NYC to Clifton, NJ and see video game heaven (for me personally). Not just saying that b/c I am on the Digital Press message board either. I have actually been trying since I discovered Digital Press to find a better place in the NJ/NY/CT/PA area, and I have not thus far. Any recommendations?

The Play N' Trade in Middletown, Delaware is a place of interest. Their selection is adequate (classic and modern) and employees are courteous and helpful. They'll buffer the discs you paid if you feel there's too many scratches on them. The kicker is their B2G1 sale on all used games.

B2G1 used sales are always appreciated. Gamestop on Black Friday weekend and the weekend after Xmas ran them & I was given/bought 11 video games, the only "problem" is Gamestop does not carry classic games. Speaking of which get all of your Xbox trade ins into Gamestop before Feb 9th because they will no longer take the system, games, or any accessories for the original Xbox.

I would expect a damn good sale eventually to blow all of the Xbox stuff off the shelves. I will be waiting for the Cube to get the same treatment, I think we will all be waiting awhile for the PS2 trade ins to end

Had a great time. I did find "I got game". Thanx who ever put that. The guy was very nice. I got Sword of Vermillion complete for 5 bucks. Went to some thrift sores. Found a stretchy Pac-Man belt from '82. Awsome. Bunches of road kill. Trees. Saw Bloddy Valintine but they didn't get it in 3D. It snowed.(it doesn't do that much here:P) Went to NY. Amazing. Central Part,Twin Towers site, Statue of Liberty, Time Square, Rockafeller Center, some Hotdogs and Papaya place, on and on...... That place is huge. Got some cool toys too. oh and saw some friends and their babies. Glad to be back though! Ah civilation!

You could try checking out the bunkers at Cape Henlopen. One of them is being restored and you can tour it at times; the others are off the beaten path and you'd kind of have to sneak in (and watch yourself).
The arcades on the boardwalk - if there are any left - are going to be closed this time of year. There's always Dave & Busters in Philly, although I've never been.

Again, you are in the area, you can't miss Drexel's store. Some call it "heaven".

And others call it the counterpart to Digital Press in South Jersey.
