Just came back from the local flea market. The guy there has a few CIB NES games-- got CIB Gauntlet 1 & 2 and Track & Field 2 (as well as a replacement Genesis box) for only $25.

Now that I'm done bragging, he also had a CIB copy of Track & Field for the NES. The cartridge that's its own thing, instead of bundled with Mario and Duck hunt.

I seem to remember this being kind of rare, but I'm not sure. He's asking $10 for it. Should I go back?

You're a bit confused -- are you asking about Track & Field (by Konami) or World Class Track Meet (the game by Nintendo/Bandai on the SMB / DH / WCTM cart)?

Yes, I was a bit confused -- WCTM was the rare-ish one I was thinking of.

Anyway, I did go back and got it for $5, so anyway, rare or not, it was worth it. Thanks for the speedy reply.

EDIT: That is, I bought Track & Field.

:) Sounds like it all worked out for the best. The WCTM cart isn't all that rare either, and Track & Field is a much better game.

Still, I've gotta find one of those PowerPads so I can actually play it right.

EDIT: Er, I think that this game uses that. Haven't done much with it but clean the contacts and test it, so I'm not sure.

Track & Field is a button masher, it doesn't use the power pad.

Like I said, I didn't actually know. It was just super-cheap NES CIBs, so I snatched 'em.
