The thing about the Korean console scene is that there isn't much of one. Most people play PC games. However, that's starting to change with the DS, Wii, 360, and PS3. I've collected some interesting things for my own collection, but having run into some unexpected financial difficulty, I wouldn't mind selling some things for the right price. The Korean games are very rare.

The particulars:
Paypal only. Shipping is $10 for the first item and $5 for each additional item. I will use I will use http://ppcalc.com/ to determine the "handling" fee. I will send everything through regular post. It takes 2-4 weeks to arrive to the US or Canada. I have never lost a piece of mail coming or going out of Korea. (Insured shipping is available, but is 2/3x more expensive.)

For Fighter's History, you mean for the Super Famicom/SNES, no?

Hey boat, do you ever see any of the DJ Max Portable special edition box sets? I've always wanted to get one but they sell out fast and the people that do have them rarely let go of them. I figure since it's a Korean game though, they might be a bit easier to find there.

isn't it against paypal policy to charge extra to compensate seller's fees?

I thought it was just against eBay policy, but then again, so is breathing the wrong way. O_O

It is, but you can always call it 'handling' in addition to shipping. Don't like the policy don't buy.

That's an eBay policy. People selling stuff and accepting PayPal payments are free to ask whatever they want.

... I think.

I know how much you hate Xbox stuff Boat but if they have any Xbox games around you let me know. That way I could PM you a list of things I'm looking for.

I thought so too until I looked into it today, and sure enough, section 4.6 of the Paypal TOS: (http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/UserAgreement/ua/USUA-outside)

4.6 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.

Very cool, you don't see Korean games very much. The only Korean imports I have are Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for PS2, and Mario RPG for Super Comboy I found in a pawn shop years ago. The neat thing about Mario RPG is that it's entirely in English. Good luck with your sale!

PM me a list--next time I go to Seoul I'll look around for ya :) AFAIK, Xbox penetration was not very deep here though.

Funny, that. The Samsung Saturn menus were entirely in English too! How did you play Super Mario RPG? Will it play on a Super Famicom?

Yeah the Super Mario RPG cart I have is the exact same shape as a Super Famicom game. After you remove those pesky plastic tabs from a US system your good to go. :)

DJ Max Portable is a music/rhythm series for PSP. It's basically a rip off of Konami's Beatmania IIDX but it's a very good rip off and plays amazingly well on the PSP. The LE box sets are very slick too and loaded with goodies. I think the latest one even comes with mini portable speakers for your PSP:

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-bj-77-c-49-en-15-dj+max+portable-70-36dp.html

Even if you can't find any LE box sets, I'd settle for just the regular edition games. The iso's don't always run perfectly on modded PSP's, so these are some of the few PSP games that I'd actually like to own.

If you want 'em you'd better get 'em fast, norkusa - Konami's suing the company that makes the DJ Max games for copyright infringement.

Better safe than sorry.

Boat:
Your 'Some DS game' is Eco-Creatures: Save The Forest. At least thats what its called here in America. Both the Japanese and Korean box art is 50000 times better than the US art.

When I read the title of this thread, I was hoping you would have had Crayon Shin-Chan for the Nuon listed. It's the only Nuon game that I don't own, mainly due to the fact that it can't be played on a North American Nuon DVD player. I'm not sure but it might have been a pack-in with the Samsung Nuon enhanced DVD player. I'll have to check Nuon-Dome for that.

Man, please find two Crayon Shin-Chan games! I'd love a copy too! Cover looks like this: http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/images/2000s/00_NUON/00_NUON_Game_Crayon.jpg.

It's going to be a really hard one to find. Really, how often do you find any Nuon stuff here in the States? I can imagine it would be even more difficult there, with more emphasis on computer gaming than console gaming. Shoot, if I could afford it, I would like to buy a Korean Nuon DVD player just so I could play the game. But that would be prohibitively expensive for me.

"Other various scene can be make!"

HAHAHA! I love it! The only game related thing I've got from Korea is my modded X-Box. Still... don't ever, ever, ever sell that Super Mariobros game. Haha, there isn't even a space between Mario and Bros.

By the way, did you get that from Korea? The case is Japanese.

The Super Mariobros thing is a diorama. I bought it in Super Potato in Akihabara.
