Profesor Layton, without a doubt.

My vote goes to DQ IV but that's only because it's the only DS game I've played from this year. Some of the other games look great though.

Professor Layton is the only game in recent memory that really made me act fanboyishly. I've tried to get everyone I know interested in it, resulting in some pleasantly surprised friends.

My vote was for SI Extreme. Loved the remix.

I think this was the best year for DS owners. We finally got a great selection of different and fun games. All of the games listed are great. But my vote goes to Castlevania. It was a great addition to the series.

The best is Professor Layton. I have played(and own) Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia(I love Castlevania BTW) and Space Invaders Extreme(with use of the paddle controller). I can honestly say I love Professor Layton more than either of those other two.

I had to vote Chrono Trigger because that's one of my favorite games of all time (definitely Top 5 at least). The DS version was wonderfully redone and they added plenty of bonus content that was not only worth playing but also helped out a lot (i.e. some of the bonus areas granted me weapons and armor that actually ended up being better than their ultimate counterparts, for example, in one of the bonus areas you get a weapon for Robo that is better than Robo's ultimate weapon). Also, the endgame dungeons/bosses/bonus-final-boss/ending do a better job of bridging the gap between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.

Just wondering, but shouldn't Final Fantasy IV be up their as a choice?
