Yup. I was kinda surprised by that myself.

Nobody cares about the PS3 I suppose. Valykria Chronicles, BioShock, Resistance 2, Disgaea 3, and Fallout 3 all needed to be nominated (not that they'd necessarily split the vote much).

And the fact that WipeOut HD is tied with LittleBigPlanet right now means that people just don't play PS3 games. Because if folks had played both, there is no way that could be the result.

I'm also curious if MGS4 is getting votes from people who haven't played it, but simply are voting for it based on the strength of the franchise.

Err...why? Wipeout HD is the best game in one of the best series of all time. I like Little Big Planet as much as the next guy, but I'm not so sure it has 10+ years of legs like Wipeout.

Dunno, Blissful Noise... MGS4 was(and is) and incredible game. I'd wager that most people who own a PS3 have played it.

Without spoiling anything, Guns of the Patriots had a few moments in it that absolutely blew me away. The 'hallway crawl', the use of split-screen during a few key fights, the interactive cut scenes(which I admit were incredibly long), the 'emulation sequence', the 'Rex vs. Ray'... It was one long love-letter to it's fan base. The graphics, superb audio mix, and MGO are icing on the cake.

LBP is my game of the year though, if only because I got my mom to play it.

I'm dissapointed at only 4 nominations but MGS 4 is the winner in my eyes with LBP right behind.
