The name of the game?

I just happened to remember an arcade game I spent hours playing, but I have forgott the name of it. Please help me to find out what game it might have been.

It was a verticaly scrolling shotemup, made for two players. All bonus weapons was gathered at the rear of the fighter like a tail until they where used. Any bonus picked up could be shared with or stolen by the other player. It looks almost like "Gunnail".

Almost sounds like Tyrian, but I'm pretty sure that was PC only.

No it can't be Tyrian it's is for sure a vertically scrolling game, but this was an arcade game with a vertical screen.

Here are some more "details" I remember about the game.

There was no vector gfx at all, only bitmaps and a lot of them with lots of colors.

I suppose it must have been made somewhere between 1985 and 1990.
