What I need is something similar to this list, but for Japanese releases (instead of US)--

I am trying to compile a complete list of 32 bit 2D platformers (http://2dgaming.site90.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=487), but I feel like I am probably missing some Japanese games.

Anybody know of a good complete database or anything that can be sorted by genre?

I don't know of any database that thorough, but your list is missing The Rapid Angel (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/image/573423.html), at least.
