A friend of mine found a copy of Megaman 2 complete. Aside from a price sticker on the front (for a whopping 6 dollars) its in very good condition.

What would be a fair price? The guide says $12 loose.

$10-$20 probably. It's not hard to find.

At least $20, if I had a complete copy that I wanted to sell I'd ask for $30(as long as it's in good shape). I find the game is in demand, loose copies are worth around $15.

I disagree.

I don't see anything through that link, I'm not registered through ebay. I've sold a loose cart for $15 last week, I would want more for a complete copy. I sell everything locally in person, and I feel a complete copy can get at least $20 easily. I wouldn't sell one that cheap though, I'd get $30 for it in a few months. I still have some commons for $5 that haven't sold in a few years, so a few months is normal to me. I've always got steady replies for Mega Man 2, unlike most other extra games I've tried to sell.

I am in Canada though, different value of curreny. Though, usually when games are sold used for $5 in the US, they sell for $5 used in Canada too. Even when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US, the prices didn't change that much(games aren't really worth more in Canada just because of the exchange rate).

The link is showing completed listings where the cart only auctions ranged from $5-$12 (with as little as $1), and complete copies not even getting a bid at $18. What you want and what you'll get aren't the same thing.

Well whatever it is it WILL be more next year. People are just now starting to buy up the B&W gboys and in general boxes are tough to find.

I guess it depends on your location.

I'd personally want $30 because it's a complete Mega Man 2, I'd easily get $20 if I wanted to sell it rather quickly. I picked up that Mega Man 2 in November, sold it last week.

Here's a screen capture from ebay right now, it shows that there are people(maybe not all that many) willing to spend $15 on a loose cart. I personally wouldn't sell one on ebay because I'd want the money to go to me instead of shipping, but that's just me. It really depends on the location if they'd be able to sell it locally.

Well, I'm pretty sure you can easily sell a CIB one for $20, especially if it's in good/exc condition.

NES huh? Why did I think this was gameboy?

-------------------------

nevermind I figured it out

the $12 loose is what got me. I assumed it was gameboy based on that.

Gameguy I think what your saying is mostly dependent on location, consider yourself lucky if you can get $15 for Mega Man 2 cart only (American or Canadian). Where I live I'd have a hell of a time getting $5 US for Mega Man 2 locally. A few months ago I sold Mega Man 2 & 3 (cart only) on eBay for $16 BIN shipped and was happy with that considering that they are the most common of the NES Mega Mans and looking at completed auctions I saw that either Mega Man 2 or 3 could be had with a little effort for $5 (or just under) shipped.

I was thinking that $10-20 for a complete copy sounds about right and if you put it up for $20 (BIN or starting bid) before shipping on say eBay it may take awhile to get a bite.
