New podcast introduced in the spirit of RetroGamingRadio

Many of you are aware that after a successful 10-year run, Shane R. Monroe has ended his podcast RetroGamingRadio.com. This has left a hole in the classic gaming hearts in many of us, me included. So in the spirit of RetroGamingRadio I would like to make a formal announcement introducing our new podcast.

We would like to introduce you all to a new retrogaming podcast that will be getting underway this February.

Scott Schreiber (aka Subarubrat), Mike James (aka Miner2049er) and myself are going to be starting a new retrogaming podcast aptly called RetroGamingRoundup. We are dedicated to producing a monthly show focused on and around classic video gaming.

Episodes will include classic gaming editorials, gaming guru interviews, monthly top-10 lists, technical Q & A, Scott’s familiar Hardware Flashback, I go undercover and give you Swap Meet LIVE!, gaming reviews, user submitted news and questions and lots more.

You can listen to our Premier Episode sometime in February 09’. In preparation of our podcast, we have started a simple website, which you can find at http://www.RetroGamingRoundup.com. Please visit our site and get familiar with it as we hope you make this a permanent destination while surfing the net. In addition, please help us spread the word of what we believe will be the definitive retrogaming podcast anywhere.

Also, we will be sharing forum space with ChaseTheChuckwagon.com. The RetroGamingRoundup Forums are now active and sitting towards the bottom of the forum page.
