.....For FREE!!! :-D
It was going to cost 5 bucks, but the guy working really likes me (sold me his Breath of Fire 2 for $15) and really really hates his boss. I can't say I blame him, this guy jaked up Final Fight 3 on me cause he knew I needed it. Went from 5 to 15 the second I said I was having trouble finding it. But one of his other employees that doesn't like him gave it to me for 5 the next day.
Still back to the subject at, Return Fire, Complete, Free....
I don't know how I find the stuff no one else can find but can't find any of the stuff I'm looking for, weird.

Congratulations!
After you're done celebrating the find, play the game! Return Fire isn't just some generic tank combat game as it appears. It's a real-time action war-game that's very easy to dive into and has play reminiscent of those classic computer games like Raid on Bungeling Bay or even Airborne Commando. Give it a ride!

I *love* Return Fire. The 3DO version was one of that system's ten best games, easy. (I forget -- were any of the maps from the 3DO "Maps O' Death" expansion disk incorporated into the PS1 version?) I also loved Fire Power, the Amiga game that was the 2D predecessor of Return Fire.
I have a beta version of Return Fire 2 around here somewhere, but I never played the final version -- I loathe PC gaming, and hoped beyond hope that RF2 would be ported to a console.
The developers of Return Fire are cranking out screensavers now, as seen at http://www.serenescreen.com. The guy drawing the amazing fish is Jim Sachs, a legendary Amiga artist who worked on the Cinemaware classic, Defender of the Crown.

How'd you know it was originally $5? If that were me, I would have called him on the spot for trying to pull that kind of crap, though my sagely grandmother taught me to never express an avid interest in anything you're buying. Just goes to show some people will try to take advantage of desirability. :/

Return Fire is awsome. I got it for 19 bucks sealed at CGE last year.

I've seen this for sale a few times, even recently, for $15 used at EB but thought that was too much for an 1st gen. PSX game no one wants. Should I have picked that up at that price? What is it going for now? I don't think I've ever seen the Saturn version but I know it was released.

Great finds on this game...I'm actually looking for two copies of this game right now. I want it and a guy at work wants one. I'm going to have to scour all the EBs tomorrow and see if they have it...if I can't find it, I may want to talk Zaxxon...
