Hey all.

I'm new here and I'm sorry to be the noob who joins just to ask a question but I actually did search my topic and I'm sure this isn't something you guys are asked daily. (I found one thread which didn't help.)

Anybody know of some type of case which could be used to protect GBA (or GB/GBC games) from damage? I'm not talking about the carts themselves, but a complete game with the box.

I recently had an incident which sorta sparked my interest in this. My little cousin was looking through my stuff (which I don't mind) but when he got to my GBA collection, lets just say that I appreciate that he held on to my games strongly so he doesn't drop it... but I hate the fact that I now have a crushed game box. I have a sealed copy of Castlevania Circle of the Moon in perfect shape but now it's pretty badly crushed in.

Any help would be appreciated it. I keep my stuff in shelves but they're still prone to dropping and handling by other people who just don't understand the knack collectors have for keeping this undamaged. :deadhorse:

And while we're on the subject, does anyone know of any protective cases for game collectors? They have bags and boards for comic books and they have a wide assortment of cases for trading cards... I'm wondering if there's something for games (though I'm guessing there isn't).

I've seen what you're talking about for NES and SNES games, but I have no clue where to find them either.

I've never heard of an actual GBA box protector. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist.

I've always kept the plastic wrapping on my GBA/GBC/GB boxes (by only slitting the plastic open on the top of the box and removing the game). Then I store the box (with all the others) in a big rubbermaid container. I store the actual game cartridge in these awesome 3-game plastic snap cases...

what about those plastic cases used to protect loose NES games? Would those fit a GBA box? I don't have one handy. It may be too thin, but check it out just in case.

You can try here (http://www.clearbags.com/?category%7CNEWBOXES), they have a size that fits snes boxes and may have one the size of a gba box also.

Those boxes are made with PolyVinyl Chloride...I would only use Polyethylene or Polypropylene( I don't know if you can find non polyvinyl clear boxes though >.>).

For those of us unfamiliar with our compounds, why wouldn't you use PolyVinyl Chloride? Those cases look really nice...

Thanks for the tips so far, everyone.
