Yar's Return?

I've heard rumors of an improved version of Yar's Return, the Yar's Revenge hack, floating around (maybe even as a cartridge).

Looks like this site might have a link to it, but the links to zip files appear to be broken. (Although the links to bin files work just fine.)

Does anyone know of a way I can find this game?

As far as I know, the only version that exists in widespread form is the version that was included with the Flashback 2. I believe the improved version you mention was going to be released with an updated Flashback console, or a portable Flashback system, both of which have yet to materialize. Yes, there were fixed versions of Yar's Return, Asteroids Deluxe, and Arcade Pong sent to Atari but they are still sitting on them. I hope to see them released one day.

Kind of wish that link on this site worked to the Yar's Return rom. (Even if it's not the final version, I would like to try it out.) But while I was searching the net, I did find this modern update of the original game for PC...
