Nintendo Wi-Fi dongle w/o driver disk

It can't be worth much, I bought one in a Goodwill for $5. Which was odd, considering I didn't have a Wii, DS, or a Windows box to use it with.

You might be surprised at this, but it's somewhat in demand. Dongle-only, you may still be able to get $20 out of it. If it was complete (driver disc, box, etc.), you may actually be looking at $40+.

Seriously? I had / have a line on getting these boxed complete for $4.00 a pop. I think I can still get at least three of them, hmmm......

theres also a major packaging variation on them

the mail away version comes in a differnt box then the store released version (I think at first the store version came in the same box very breifly till they switched to the more common wii'ish packaging)

Yeah, my mail away copy has Nintendo DS branding on the box. Sadly, I could never get it to work properly, even after installing the most up to date software for it.

But then my neighbor got an unsecured wireless connection, and that solved my Wifi problems. ;)

I guess the fact that it was discontinued relatively early on makes it a bit more valuable too...

Luckily for me, mine is the original version (pre-Wii, cardboard outer box). The local Wal-Marts had them on clearance for $27, around 15-20 split between the two stores here in Cleveland. They sold within the week.

wow i didnt know they were hard to find now, theere are only 4 original ones on ebay and they arent any lower than 50 bucks.
