View Full Version : How can I get rid of the new style 'My eBay' page?

This evening I encountered a nasty new layout for the my eBay page, that seems to give you half the information in twice as much space. Does anyone know if it is possible to "opt out" and revert back?

Shit, mine too. Sucks. Why can't they just leave shit alone!

Jan 20th was indicated as the date that eBay would switch over everyone to the new page style... so there's no going back.

I honestly try to give ebay's major changes a fair shot, but the new My Ebay is seriously horrible. It loads a little faster, but I'd rather have everything I need on one page. We're not using modems anymore.

I hate hate HATE how you have to click two links and let two pages load just to get to your New Pending Offers as a seller. It's ridiculous. I don't save Best Offer notification emails because of the clutter. Now I might have to. Great job, guys.

Instead of typing in e-b-a-y.com goto chasethechuckwagon.com. Now that nasty new layout will be gone :) :)

The problem isn't even so much that the layout itself is atrocious, but there's A LOT of features that are just missing. For instance, there's no indication if that "Request Total From Seller" has come back w/ an invoice or not. I have to actually try to pay every single time just to find out they haven't sent the invoice yet! Amazing.

I fucking HATE the new layout. It's HORRIBLE.

Now I bet they want to change the new outline of the search to permanent, always putting that damn BEST MATCH shit first.

ARGH!

As a seller there's no option to show the buyer's zip code or the item number anymore without going to the order details. On my PC it doesn't load any faster either. It's a bloated page.

It's also harder to answer questions about your items. Instead of having a page with only the items that have questions, it makes you look though every item you have listed for the ones that do.

If an item ends with a question unanswered, that question becomes unanswerable but still shows up under the item title. It is no longer included in the count though.

The only thing I like about it is the way it shows your totals on the left. Before you had to add up how much money people owe you manually.

EDIT ---> More things I just noticed...if you sort a column, the color band that represents what you've sorted blanks out the notes text on my computer. Also the sorting is set up backward. If you click time ending, recent first, it shows you the oldest auctions instead of the newest. It also does it backward when you try to sort items by user ID. Apparently eBay thinks descending names means start at Z and go to A. Last I checked we read from top to bottom here in America and almost everywhere else. Descending user names should have the As at the top and Zs at the bottom. They are extremely retarded it seems.
