I have a dead Atari 130XE (black blank screen and buzzing sound when powered on). The red led on the keyboard does light up. After reading several forums a common problem seems to be bad RAM. So does anyone know who can provide the service of desoldering the RAM and placing in Sockets.

Unless there are people who just want to do this for fun, I can't imagine that you couldn't buy another 130XE on ebay cheaper than paying someone to desolder the ram.
I've done it and it sucks.

A problem with buying another one is that sometime in the near future if I am not mistaken, the RAM will go bad also. Damn cheap RAM :(
