Hi guys,
I am sure there are some members here who own one of these. I know two of them that don't want to part.
I own just about every released cart anyway, just would like to see the unreleased stuff.
Short of that, does anyone know how to make one? Ward Shrake used to make them but has "retired" from videogaming to lay on a hammock somewhere (I've contacted him).

Wish that I had one as well, as a couple of demos (counter and message) were on that cart. I do have a copy of the instructions from that cart, though. Maybe you'd find it somewhat useful.

Assorted notes:
You may want to try changing the DIP switches with the game plugged in and the power still on. Just change the switch positions, and then press "reset". If you accidentally jiggle the cart in the slot as you are doing this -- because it is natural to hold onto the cart with one hand -- you may have to power off to clear any crash that results. (It does not happen often.) If it locks up, power off and reinsert the cart to be sure it is sitting in the slot correctly.
A short tube or straw, such as the stem of a "Chupa-Chup" lollipop, makes changing the DIP switches much faster and easier.
The two DIP switches on the far right side can always be set at zero. They are there for future expansion purposes, later on.
"Golf" does not work. The original would only work on an MPT-03 with "extra lines" in the cart port, for (odd) bank-switching.
Some of Ward's favorites: Astro Invaders, Doraemon, Red Clash, and Parashooter. Jump Bug is popular with many folks who have played this system's games. And there are many games from alternate families to explore, although some might not work all that well without the analog controllers they were made for use with.
