Return Fire PSX -- Instruction book necessary?

OK, I usually only buy complete games. But for some reason (probably because I'm broke) I'm thinking about compromising my standards and bidding on a PSX Return Fire with box, no instructions. But before I do such a potentially silly thing, I gotta ask: will not having the instructions make it really hard for me to figure out what the hell's going on?

I don't think so, the game is basically capture the flag with tanks helicopters and jeeps. The Jeeps are the only vehicles that can capture the flag.

But basically playing with another player a few times should get you up to speed... :)
