Well, maybe not new new (as it says Pac-Man 25th Anniversary, which should put it at 2005), but it sure is cool. Anyone ever see one before or own one?

Lol, I thought this thread was going to be about the mini Coleco tabletop being re-released, which sounded way too awesome to be true, and it wasn't.

However, that little machine is quite cool indeed. It's dying for a MAME mod.

Yea,I've seen them before/online but not in person...It's so awesome!!..I like countertop machines too.

I'd love to own one but the price..Ouch..

I figure I probably could order and pick one up from the site below,
http://www.betson.com/

If they were $1000.00-$1500.00 I might consider..

Yeah, that is just insane. I understand the monitor is huge, but it shouldn't go for more than $600 or so, and maybe another $75 or so for shipping. Are there any other places to get them cheaper? Are they ever on eBay?

Well, here's one on eBay with a BIN price of $1,825. He's also accepting offers, so he would robably let it go for $1,500.

Which one do you mean, the early 80's Coleco one, or one similar to the one posted above?

Does anybody know if there are other games like this? I'd love a Berzerk or Centipede one. Wouldn't it be great if that thing accepted carts? :)

It looks cool but it's about 1600 too much in my opinion.

I would get one if the price included the lady in your signature!

Since that picture is from 1970, you sure you would want her now? :o

They had the Pac-Man unit in the first post as a ticket prize (for some unbelievable amount of tickets) at Dave and Busters in the Chicago area over X-Mas break. It was plugged in and on free play, so I got to try it a little bit. Pretty cool.

IMO the other unit pictured above is far superior. It is a few hunderd dollars cheaper and comes with 180 games. That game list is awesome too. Lots of winners.

I tried out one of those Ultracade units at a store that sells home rec items (pool tables, pinball, arcade games, etc.) and wasn't too impressed. Everything felt flimsy, and those cabinet graphics are really tacky/ugly IMO. You could make your own MAME cabinet (or find some local guy to do one for you) for much less than $1700.

That is bad-ass.

Thanks for making me aware.

No interest in the ultracade from me because I'm not a big fan of arcade emulation. It's still pretty off for anything after the early '80s. And ultracade cabs are really ugly, too.
