Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. What, someone had to do it first:)

Anyway, it's nice to see Ric still up and around after retiring last year. Plus, for this role he has to keep his shirt on. I love Ric Flair as much as the next person, but once you reach a certain age you should be required to keep your shirt on.........by law. But still, whooooooooooooooooo!!!

I think for everyone there is a point where the C&C stopped being serious and just turned into camp silliness. For a lot of people it was around the time the first Red Alert was released. Anyone who says 'it hasn't yet' really needs their head cavity examining.

But otherwise, woooooooooooo!

Happier to see Malcolm McDowell in there but Ric's a great personality, too.

Malcolm McDowell always brightens up any movie he's in. Even if he's a bad guy, I always love to watch him go at it.

Quite frankly, I thought C&C was always kind of campy...all the way from the fake tv intro of the very first game. This is just a icing on the cake.

Wooooooooooo!

I'm hoping for a few of Ric's "Shut up Fatboy" lines.

Also, since he faked a heart attack and also spent a lot of time dropping elbows in an empty wrestling ring during tv interviews as WCW was going under, maybe he might incorporate that "experience" into the game.

Depending on how Ric is depicted and how much we see of him, I wonder who will be listed in the game's credits for CGI'ing a flat chest.

The discussion that they had about this on last weeks Giant Bomb-cast was one of the funniest discussions I've ever heard them have...visuals of Ric Flair jumping out of a bomber jet to elbow drop enemy forces had me laughing to myself during an otherwise stressful work day.

I watched an interview with Ric Flair on the set of this game Friday night courtesy of Game Trailers tv. He said he was very excited when he got the call to do this role. After explaining the jest of his character, he finished the interview with a heart stopping Whoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

That had me rolling too.

Ric's appeal is universal. Once in one of my classes here in Korea, I was playing an English education movie that featured Also Sprach Zarathustra. All of a sudden, an excited mumbling took over the boys' side of the class. "What is it, guys?" I asked.

"Teacher....Nature Boy!"

I let out a Wooo! and the class went nuts. It was great.

Back in the final 2-3 years of the Monday night wars (99-01), before WCW went out of business, my longtime college roommate and I were the only ones in our entire dorm who would watch Monday Nitro (all the other rooms had it tuned to WWF Raw). A large part of the reason was to see what Ric Flair would say in an interview or do in the ring. The scripts, writing and matches were mostly horrendous. However, during that time period Ric was just as good as he ever was, especially on the microphone.
