So, what VC have you guys and gals bought that you regret? For me, I have 2 main ones:
Gunstar Heroes- This is probably a game most peole on this forum love, but I thought it was completely overrated.
Secret of Mana- It's a great RPG at it's core, but I can't stand the menu system, and it's just too hard without playing co-op.
Other then those two, I love the ones I have:
Adventures of Lolo 1 and 2
Mega Man 2 (my NES copy is crap)
Ice Hockey
Super Mario 64
LoZ:Ocarina of Time (can't play it enough)
Castlevania IV
Phantasy Star II (haven't started yet)
Sin and Punishment (got purely it was an N64 game I'd never got to play)
How about yours?

Gunstar Heroes overrated, blasphemy! This is especially funny considering you have maybe the most overrated game of all time in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in your favorites.

People overrate OoT today by holding it too high, but was completely original when it came out. I just heard about Gunstar so much before I played it. It's like watching the Oscars and have a movie you never saw win best picture, and seeing it later, and having a reaction of, "thats it?" Thats not always the case but for me it was.

Its cool, don't get me wrong OoT is a great game that I just get sick of people placing above other great games. As for Gunstar Heroes, I love the idea of trying the different weapons combinations and the variety of each stage highlighted by one of my all time favorites the dice maze. You should definately give it a go with another person in co op mode if you haven't yet as well.

Well right now I only have these games on my VC
Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario Bros 2 (Japan version)
Bubble Bobble..
I wish I could get my money back or gift off DKC and SMB2
Don't get me wrong I like DKC.. but now I have the cart.. and I play that more than my Wii and obviously my VC.. and I'm not really warming up to SMB2 like I thought I would be..
Heh..

I don't believe anyone's ever purchased or gifted me a game.
Sad, isn't it?

I usually only buy VC games I know I'll like, but I have taken a chance a few times and gotten a few clunkers like Excitebike, Renegade, Digital Champ, Vigilante, Victory Run, China Warrior, and Silent Debuggers (my vote for the worst game on the VC).

Ninja Jaja Maru-kun (NES). There was an import Saturn game of the same name, and it was awesome. There was another related game for NES/Famicom called Squashed, which was a great platformer. Not sure why this particular one they released on the VC was so awful.
Excitebike, a clunker? Not true.
ANyway, I got some I dont care much for either.
Gunstar Heroes- had the cart, didnt see the big deal & sold it, thought I'd try again on VC
Metroid- pretty dull unless I'm doing somethng wrong
Super DodgeBall, Kirby's Adventure- tried them out when I got them, wasnt too impressed but I should try them again

To each their own, I guess. I know a lot of people view it as a classic, and I think the track editor is a neat idea. It's just that, to me, the actual racing isn't all that hot. I was bored with the game in about 15 minutes.

All of them lol, since I rarely play my Wii anymore. I got my 360 after the Wii, and it's hard to go back with the online features so awful compared to what I was missing with Live

I don't think I'll ever buy a VC game from the Wii. I'd rather own the original, which I do for the majority of games I would have wanted from it.

I bought Devil's Crush for some reason. I still don't know why. I've never really had in interest in the TG-16 or pinball games. Not sure what I was thinking.
Also I kind of regret buying the Japanese version of Super Mario Brothers 2 (NES). Boring. That one I was actually excited to get. After playing it for 20 minutes, it was obviously too similar to SMB1....which I'm sick to death of at this point. The novelty wore off quick.

The menu system is pretty annoying, and you're AI is awful.

Can you actually save edited tracks now or does that still hang the game?

Cho Aniki.
I haven't bought it or gifted it, but the look on my friends' faces when they saw gameplay videos was absolutely priceless.
