Hey all,

Ive got around 35-50 bare Famicom carts and I was wondering if there existed any tower type solutions for storage. DVD case towers work pretty well for NES carts, but not as well for Famicom carts (at least the wireframe ones Im finding, the carts arent deep enough to stay put)

Does anyone know of any better solutions? Any help greatly appreciated as always.

Thanks,

- RCM

Check out http://store.videogamecentral.com/vigaungacafo.html for univercial game cases, they work pretty well. And the coverproject http://www.thecoverproject.net/ for a few of the covers. Hope this helps.

Thats not quite what I had in mind, I dont want to box the games really, just store the carts in an easy access tower type thing so I can grab them easily when I want to play something.

Oh, cute catgirl in your sig too.

Since there are no labels on FC carts, I now by them only in box. That way, no matter how they are displayed, I can find what I am looking for. I know, not the answer you are looking for, but good for the future.

I found a solution for this actually.

I took some measurements and Famicom carts appear to be exactly the same size as old cassette tape cases (barring some that are longer, but that wont matter). I think a wooden wall mount cassette tape rack will be my best bet, they hold about 75-100 generally. The FDS plastic cases should fit in there fine as well.

Concerning the end labels, that will be a problem. I have a label printer that can fix that, and the labels can come off the plastic easily without residue if I change my mind.

My problem is with N64 carts. I really don't want to label them, nor stack them. I've been racking my brain for a good way to display them so I can see the front labels. I would rather not have boxes either. If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know.

You can tilt N64 games just right if you take a peek at my old room in the collections section. Should be like page 5 or 6...depending on if it gets moved back. I had two rows of carts tilted.
