I'm kinda reserching Nes games and I can't find any info on US released Sachen games. Is there no such thing? I would like a list if there is. Are they the Blue ones like Little Red Hood, Pyramid II ect. Is it they just where not released in the US. Are they NTSC? I think other peolpe released there games, Bunch, Ave, Wisdom Tree.? Not sure. I've seen alot of people don't count them becuase there kind like pirates? and very bad in quality. I just don't think thats enough to ignore them. I mean even if they wern't released in the US but would play on a NTSC USA Nintendo I'd count them. I'm sorry. I am very confused. Any help would be apreciated.

If you search the forums here, you'll find a couple of big threads on this subject. There is no definite answer to it though. I personally don't count Sachen's as US releases because I've never seen any evidence that they were ever for sale here but some say otherwise.

Wasn't there a Sachen console released which was basically just a pirate NES system? I always assumed that the carts were meant to played on that and they just happened to be compatible on the NES too.

If this is a double thread lockit by almeans. I thought I searched here and NA but....It's just very confusing. Any light would help. I did see some guy had a site that had a list but it seems very all inclusive and realy not presented with detailed info. I don't understand how 1000's of people can collect something and everyone ignores something elusive and weird. In most collectables(vagly speaking) this would be the stuff everyone would go after. Why is this? Of to search the forum!

Its hard for alot of collectors to accept them as part of the collection as most of the "us" versions came out long after the system was "dead" (stull like huge iinsect came out less then 10 years ago)

its like all those "new" games on retrousb.com aren't really counted as part of a complete library . or any of those repros of stuff like erarthbound and final fantasy 2.
it only really counts to a collector if it came out during the life of the system.

at least thats my take on it.

Thanx for postin(so I could post again). So I went back to the site I (bashed)mentioned(oh I didn't) Well it's "Nes Player" and it is pretty good! (sorry)I found all types of info on the Sachen games, the company, the other company's that released there games here and a bunch more stuff. Nes flash "movies" and old video game tv show and Nes books ect. Spent an hour or 2 checkin it out. Heres the link.http://www.nesplayer.com/features/sachen/index.htm Pretty Cool.

I still have a few questions though.
Where all the carts released individualy(not just muli cart)?
Witch were NTSC USA compatable without an adapter?
The ones that look like Famicom carts, are they? Are they in English?
How can I search ebay for these(I think they count them as pirates too)?:beaten:

I have a Sachen cart. I believe it is Pipe V. I found it years ago on ebay by searching "Sachen" or "Sachen NES". And, t plays in my NES with out an adapter.

You might want to try to get in touch with nes.god over at the nesworld forums. I don't really understand his connections, but if I ever see a Sachen cart, it's his. I don't know if he has them built or what, but he always seemed to have a never-ending supply of them. I bought a couple brand new off of him a few years ago (Huge Insect included).

To answer your questions:

I think they were all released individually and then some multis were put out later.

The NTSC games work fine on a factory system.

The famicom-looking carts are indeed famicom games. Check out the left pic here http://www.gamesniped.com/2008/01/22/complete-nes-nintendo-sachen-collection/
That is what you are looking for.

Ebay allows them, or at least they did a few years ago. They just don't pop up very often.

And no offense, but if you wouldn't mind checking your grammar... I mean, ouch. It's like a chore trying to figure out some of the stuff you write.

I bet that there are cases of these things sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Looks like nes.god can get them whenever he wants from what I have read. I bet the company still exists in Taiwan, and it just doesn't use the name.

Think about it, Nintendo keeps laying on the lawsuits for the copy-write infringement, so you set up a company as a distributor, and sell all the games to your distributor, which is still really Sachen.

From what I have read they were a bunch of different names in the past. Why not change your name again, and say your not the same company?

I never found any Sachen games by searching for Sachen. I just found them searching for the game title on Ebay. I think I have 3 or 4 around here somewhere and all were purchased from different sellers on Ebay. Non of the sellers were outside of the US.
