The single guide at GameFAQs is unfinished, and doesn't even cover how to unlock the cop car, so I'm asking you people: How do we unlock the fifth vehicle in Zombie versus Ambulance? We've finished the game, and unlocked "Attack" mode, but do not have access to the fifth vehicle. We had over sixty mechanics we we finished, and the last upgrade we got was made available right around forty, I believe.
I believe this game was also released in Europe as "Zombie Virus," if any of you happen to live in the land of PAL.

I would also be curious about this, but sadly have not gotten that far.
How I wish they would make an XBLA version of this game.

my crazy asss beat the game with no knowledge of japanese. from my understanding if you pick up enough guys that look like mechanics they unlock more upgrades and cars. thats as much as i could figure out.

How do people even find out about games like this?
I mean, this looks so awful/awesome that I really want to finally enact my plan to get another PS2 and mod it for imports. Also, does vol 95 mean that there are 94 other games this horrible/amazing?

Uh. I want this. I'm trying to think of cooler ideas for a video game and I'm drawing a blank right now. Regardless of how it's put together technically, I'm humbled at the developer's level of insanity.
I guess you could make a game about a giant chick in a bikini destroying a city but it turns out THEY DID THAT TOO!

Google the Simple series, and get ready to be blown away.

It's a crime that we don't get any (ok, two of them, a fishing game and their pikmin clone which is pretty cool) of these games in the US. Europe has a couple dozen of them.

just get a japanese unit. they are like $200 new and are more reliable than modding. Its a little more expensive than modding but you dont have to risk ruining your system

There's no reason a modded PS2 shouldn't last as long as a non-modded one as long as it's done well. I've had my chipped PS2 for a couple years now (which was a refurb to begin with) and it has lasted longer than some of my friends non-moded PS2's. Just make sure the person that mods it knows what they're doing.

How do you guys NOT know about Zombie vs Ambulance? The internet was aflame with how crazy this game was when it came out a couple years ago, and it was a budget title, so it was dirt cheap.

Honestly, it's been so long since I played the game that I don't remember how I unlocked all the vehicles. Maybe it was purchased?
I'm usually not too harsh on the Simple 2000 budget games, but this one really disappointed me. You can read my take on it here, courtesy of our Import forum...

That maid costume was not made for aerobics. Not enough freedom of movement in the upper body.
Oh, okay, I've thought of a game idea that would make a good Simple 2000 game. It's called Hoovered. The spirit of Herbert Hoover is sucked into a massive war robot equipped with a giant Hoover Vacuum Cleaner attachment on one of its arms in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Starting in that city, he must lay waste to the southwest, fighting government forces and hostile desert rats with a unique "suck and blow" mechanic, until he reaches the dam that bears his name and destroys it. Because it's evil, or something.
Make this happen, Japan.
