I know this should probably go in the buy/sell Ebay forum, but I thought you guys might want to check it out. It's supposedly a sealed copy of Earthbound for SNES. They misspelled Nintendo on the heading and I happened to come across it. I thought these things weren't sealed when new, but I may be incorrect. He does have 100% positive feedback. Anyway, thought somebody here might be interested:

Syran-wrap? Haha.
I agree though, it looks DIY shrink wrap to me.

It wasn't. Someone's going to end up with a pretty expensive bathroom tile.

Someone found a case of NIB copies of Earthbound last year, and were selling them at $500 a piece.

No, it was not a "case". Just a couple discovered copies forgotten in some store. They were very mint, and possibly new, but not shrinkwrapped.

This sealed copy is nothing but a bullshit. Not even funny because it's a rip-off.

The wrap looks home made but it looks really old, maybe few stores re-sealed the copies they had for sale ...

It will be interesting how much it reaches, i will bid a few hundred dollars :D

If you look at the picture of the back, you can tell that the box has been opened by the appearance of the flap on the left.

he answers a question at the bottom of the auction "i found the game cartridge in a seperate plastic container with the same sticker and number on it as the box, so I'm assuming the players guide is in the box!"

Let's get everyone here with an ebay account to tell him it isn't real. I hate it when sellers take advantage of stupid people.

Question & Answer

Q: if i open it and it's not complete or i'm not satisfied, can i still get my money back?

A: Thanks for asking this question. Since there are bids I can not revise the auction. I found the game cartridge in a seperate plastic container with the same number tag on it. I will email the winner and ask if he still wants the game and box since it is used. The players guide may be in the box, but I don't know! And yes I will refund if you are not satisfied.
