Greetings fellow British Columbian. How exactly would one play this if its just homebrew? (Aside from the emulators avaliable which i wont get into). I know of no way to play these games on the actual system.

The only way to play it on the actual system would be to use a Genesis flashcart... it's much easier to just use an emulator. It would be cool to be able to play it on the actual system, though, particularly after sound is added... :)

Flashcarts are usually somewhat expensive, though.

Should release it for Sega CD 32X then we could all just burn copies.

My guess is that someone will have to write in support in the emulators before it's playable in them. Maybe too new to have any support yet.

It runs fine in KEGA Fusion. Pretty good so far!

That would be pretty cool but in reality it would most likely be hard to figure out how to program the game for both systems to work in unison.

Yeah, Sega CD programming is definitely not the same as Genesis programming, or 32X programming. Instead of having the whole game on an instantly accessible ROM chip in the cartridge slot, you have to feed all the data through the narrow bandwidth of the connection port... this in effect limits what you could do. Sega CD32X games were easy when they were just graphically enhanced Sega CD games, but when you're taking a cart game and converting it to CD, that'd be much more difficult...

It's likely possible, but it's definitely a lot harder than just making a 32X game. And the 32X isn't exactly easy itself, what with the two layers, one controlled by Genesis and the other by 32X, and the multiple chips in the 32X itself... evidently this game doesn't use the Genesis at all yet, just the 32X. Making non-FMV-based CD32X games is evidently quite a hassle.

so, to those of you that have a genesis flashcart - does this work on actual 32x hardware? I love the 32X and would actually get a genesis flash cart just for this.

Yes, it evidently does work fine.
