Cell phone themes

Well, I have finally come out of the dark ages and gotten a "modern" cell phone. And, you guessed it, I have made it Saturn-themed. I have Dragon Force, Radiant Silvergun, Shining Force III, & Panzer Dragoon ring tones. And also, some nice Saturn wallpapers (http://www.gamingenterprisesinc.com/temp/Saturn_Cell.jpg).

Anyone else have some cool videogame cell phone themes?

My cell phone ringtone is the underwater theme from SMB1. Used to be the Zelda theme, but it didn't play loudly enough for me to hear it when the phone isn't next to me.

My ringtone has been the opening theme from Kid Chameleon for quite a while now. I still find it amusing everytime it rings. Maybe I should get a KC wallpaper too...

That's my background. All of my tones are general ringers except for the gamestores which are set to the main theme of Galaga '90 :)

I think currently my background is Heather from Silent Hill 3. One friend is set up as the Castle Theme from Dragon Warrior, and another is the Codec sound from Metal Gear Solid.

My girlfriend has my ringtone set up as Etna's theme from Maniac Mansion.

I have some I cut up out of the themes I found online ages ago. I don't know if they are 'good' but they work for me. I have the overworld theme for my general ring, dungeon theme for the in-laws, save or quit for family, Title screen for friends, getting a triforce piece for my wife, and the magic recorder plays for alerts (like when I have a voicemail.

anyone is welcome to pm me their email address and I can send it all to you, assuming I can still find the files on my comp. I think they are just midi, but to me they are pretty decent.

edit: Lady Jaye is right about the volume. These are mostly not very harsh sounds, so they aren't always easy to hear. Depends a lot on your phone I suppose. The stock RAZR isn't quite loud enough, but when I had custom firmware on it it was fine.

I currently have a Snatcher theme going on my cell phone. I have like 10 different video-game based ringtones on my phone to use at any time. I currently have it at the MGS Main Theme. I just usually find whatever game I am in the mood for, and if I don't have it, I just make an MP3 out of it and put it on my phone...

I had the theme from Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode as my ring tone for a while. I used the "Death Riff" from the movie Battles Without Honor and Humanity for a spell, but recently switched back to Golgo.

The cool thing is that you can assign a different ringtone to each person in your address book. So, I have ringtones from about 10 Saturn games. Pretty neat! Isn't technology great?

new pic message: Contra victory music
ring: Mt. Gagazet from Final Fantasy X

I love the Saturn theme idea. I think I'm going to do an Elder Scrolls theme next.

Few are Parasite Eve theme, Vampire Killer, Zelda theme.
No real set theme, just random songs.

I use the start game music from Galaxian. Shrill enough that I can hear it anywhere, and it's Classic gaming related.

I have a few dozen game-related tones on the microSD in my phone and switch them up regularly.

Currently it's:

Text: 1up sound from SMB
Picture: Key sound from Gauntlet
Voicemail - powerup sound from Crystalis
Normal call - Phoenix Wright "Court Begins"

A perennial favorite is the save music from Phoenix Wright as a text message alert.

Different people, or groups of people, also have various ringtones, not all of them game-related. All of my college friends have "Axel F" as their ringtone.

I have the long opening level from Braid (the bridge with the smoldering city in the background) on my Android G1, since the G1 Android menu screen is three screens long it looks really neat when I page scroll left and right with the touch screen, especially because the program icons and widgets move with a slightly faster parallax scroll than the background.

Off topic, yeah, but have you heard these cash registers that use game sounds. There are a couple of local convenience stores, one uses the coin collecting sound from Mario and the other uses the ring collection sound from Sonic, so now I tend to think of the two places as the "Mario Store" and the "Sonic Store."
