You guys might want to pick up this game for Wii. I have a feeling it may become rare.
It's a compilation of 3 shooting games previously available only in japan. Karous, Chaos Field, and Radio Allergy. It came out on Feb 6th and it's only 29.99! I ordered mine from Best Buy. It said the was only available online *at best buy at least*. This may lend to it's possible rarity, and to boot it's got 3 great games for only 30 bucks, can't beat that!

Chaos Field came out here on GameCube. I definitely need to pick this up though. I forgot all about it.

So Radigy finally makes it over here. Remember when this was going to be a stand-alone Gamecube release?

I might pick this new compilation up. $27.99 at Amazon.

Why doesn't anyone post about games that are below the radar, but are actually good instead of always speculating about future rarity? Given that Chaos Field is worth less than most of us paid for it on the Gamecube and still readily available, I find it hard to believe this particular compilation will become rare. Ultimate Shooting is available from every major web retailer and in several large B&M chains and tons of indy game shops. Having said that, it's a really good shmup compilation if you like these games and much cheaper than buying the Dreamcast versions.

That's why I bought it, to play those shooters. But who knows, it could be valuable some day so win/win.

Does this collection offer TATE for Radirgy and Karous?
I had heard that the Japanese version of Milestone Shooting Collection lacked TATE :(
Nevertheless, I am getting this solely for the support of USA shooters! I didn't care much for Chaos Field but LOVE Radirgy, and Karous is solid too.

Wow, I hadn't even heard this was coming out. First Wii game I'm interested in in months.

HOLD ON! I thought rare games are a thing of the past?
Next gen consoles are never going to have rare games for it,with all the mass production these days.

It's sad how this game came out of the left field. With a name like "ULTIMATE SHOOTING COLLECTION" you may have considered it cheap shovelware, until you read the back of the case. I have to find it! I've been dying to play Radirgy!

I'm still waiting for an "Ultimate Shit Collection" for the Wii. But that literally could be any number of it's current titlesLOL

Somebody get this joker off the stage! Less funny than a new Will Ferrel movie! :P
Anyway, now I'm torn between this and Retro Game Challenge as my 'new game' purchase. Dang you, mills! Dang your keeping me abreast of under-the-rader games!

Nothing is that unfunny. Except maybe a Pauly Shore movie. Then again, it's a toss up.

Not a bad deal, considering I never played any of those shooters. However....with compilations like sonics ultimate genesis collection...it makes me wish there were more to this "ultimate" shooters collection.

It was a stand alone for the GameCube. Just not over here.
But a FreeLoader is easy enough to use.

He was just refering to the Cube release in the US...
Thanks for the heads up, didn't realise it was FINALLY out in the US. Strangely enough, PlayAsia was the cheapest for me to order from (price + shipping total)...

Tate mode for Karous and Radio Allergy is present. Be careful though, there are two versions. One for the real tate experience and the other changes the controls so you play the game fullscreen but sidescroll style. I know... Freaky. :eek 2:

When I think of "shooting" as you put in your title, I think of zapper games, like the new Links Crossbow Training. Still looks like a few good games though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. It is an unfortunate name, but not the OP's fault, since that is the actual name of the game!

You sure that mode isn't not for vertical monitors?
Sounds like it...
Thanks for pointing this out! Definitely picking this up!

Thanks!
There are a few games that have TATE screen but with horizontal controls (Raiden Project, Battle Garegga). Its nice that they offer that for folks who don't/can't rotate their tv but still can play the game comfortably and looking like the game was made to be played.

Yeah, usually you get Tate or no. To get both these options is rather a nice bonus.
