Found this at a Wal-Mart in the boonies yesterday. Paid 42.00 for it. Not sure if it was worth it, but I had to pick it up. I don't find 8 year old sealed game in the wild very often (especially Square games).

It goes for around $15-$20 sealed on Ebay. There are a couple local stores here in LA that still have it for sale new as well at $20. Not a very popular game unfortunately.

Well, since you bought it sealed from a major retailer, I imagine you could probably get a refund if you left it sealed. that's what I would do. Yeah, it's a squaresoft title, but the title was critically panned if I remember correctly and doesn't have much of a following. King's Knight for NES is also a square title, but that doesn't seem to go for much either, ya know?

The Bouncer LOOKS neat, but it plays like crap.
Get a refund if you can. You can get this used at Gamestop for like five bucks or less. :(

You really need to check prices more my friend. Like others have already said, this game is craptastically bad. Furthermore, it holds almost no value rather it's factory sealed or gold plated sealed. Take the game back to Wal-Mart, demand a refund and go purchase something nice for yourself, like a subscription to my discount/clearance video game thread. I'll even give you the link free of charge: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=115238&page=11

Plays? You mean you actually count the 10 minutes where you get to use the controller "playing?" Most overhyped game ever in my mind.

Nah - I knew I could return it at a nearby Wal-Mart if it turned out to be worth crap. I wasn't going to drive home and then 20 miles back there if I found out it was worthless.
Thanks for the link though. :)
