I've decided that I want to put all of my GBA games in plastic clamshell cases, but I have a few questions.
Will the manuals fit? I don't have any DS games at all and I never tried it when I did have some.
The GBA manuals sold on nintendo's online store have a disclaimer saying that they might just send a photocopy, in which case I need to know if they are proper sized manuals, or just standard A4 paper. Does anyone here have experience with them?
Are there any templates that I can use to make new inserts with? I'm probably going to just scan the GBA boxes and make some adjustments, but I do have a few carts that I'd like to make a custom insert for.
Where is the best place to find box scans? I have a few loose carts and some of my boxes have stickers on them.
This is completely unrelated, but I've noticed that it's cheaper to buy two five-packs of GC cases than it is to buy a single ten-pack.

I just tried putting a GBA manual in a DS case, and it doesn't fit properly. It's a little too long and will bend over when you shut it.

That's too bad. Maybe I'll just use the clamshells for my loose games and flash carts then.

There's actually a pretty dedicated community to things of this nature, and I'm sure they can help you with what you're looking for.
GBA Cover Inserts can be found right here (http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cat_id=13).
You can also find a whole thread on them over at CAG right here (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29544).
Best of luck, and enjoy!

so will the manual fit in it properly if you rotate it, or is it still too long? seems like GBA boxes and DS boxes are all roughly the same size, so you'd think the manuals would fit in them, especially if the carts fit in them with no problems
I keep all my GBA carts in official leatherette cases, but I keep all my manuals in a separate box with all my other manuals... only my Genesis manuals are kept in their original cases, the rest have never worked out any other way
I had hoped that all my Sega CD, 32X CD, Saturn, 3DO, & PS1 longbox manuals would fit in DVD cases, but of course they're all just a little too big to fit in them... I wish I knew how so many companies all manage to ensure that their standards always change in such ways that nothing old is ever compatible with nothing new, with very few exceptions... you can't even fit all your CD manuals in standard CD cases... some require a special jewel case made specifically for holding large manuals, while others require a multiple disc case just to hold the extra thick manual... so to keep things uniform, I have to keep all those manuals in boxes as well... otherwise, shelving it all in original cases looks odd... especially if I don't break the alphabet to keep them sorted by system... although they don't look much better in boxes
I've heard even the storage cases made for SNES carts aren't made to hold the manuals, so what's the point of buying a case to replace a box? you still have to keep your manual in a box or something else, if you wanna keep it!

It's been pretty random with me... sometimes I'll order a manual and get the original, but most of the time, I'll get a photocopy. There's really no indication of what you'll get, though the last couple of times I tried, I just got a photocopy... which was the point I stopped bothering.
It's LITERALLY a photocopy... like they sent an intern to Kinko's with the last booklet they had and run off a bunch of copies off the self service printer on letter sized paper. Kinda lame, but whachagonnado.

There is a plastic strip on the manual side of the case that you will need to remove in order to get a GBA manual to fit. It requires a sharp flat blade (like an exacto-knife) but once removed, the cases are perfect and your collection looks 1000% better.

If you order via phone, they should be able to tell you which titles they still have original manuals for.
