If you are one of the three Wii owners who have yet to download an episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, well... good for you. Because like Sam & Max, it's going to be released as a 'Season Set' in disc format for the Wii.

I'm one of the three. What's the price going to be?
This is actually a great way to get these games because they'll keep the Wii's limited memory free.

Nothing about the pricing yet, but if it's like Sam & Max, probably $30.

Ha ha! I've been avoiding buying these for WiiWare specifically in the hope that they'd do something like this, and my gamble has finally paid off! :D
I hope more WiiWare games make the jump to DVD... for those of you who, like me, still resist digital distribution.

I'm in for the discs. I'm not much for hooking my Wii up at all, let alone bothering to configure the wireless.

I've already got and finished all 5 episodes on PC (the only PC games I bought throughout the whole of 2008, lol) but I may still get the Wii version if it's cheap enough...

Only for Wii?
I managed to pick up Sam & Max PC brand-new for $5, and that wasn't even the jewelcase budget release. If the same thing were to happen to SBCG4AP, that would be quite cool.

I wish this would happen to the 360 arcade titles. I know they have a couple "unplugged" sets, but I want Castle Crashers, Bionic Commando, etc to be released. Will that ever happen?

Probably not, the discs come out grouped by publisher. A lot of XBLA titles are independent, it's not cost effective to put out a disc with only 1 or 2 games on it.

Remembah when I sahid it vould beh on theh Whii?... I lied.... (end Ahnold Voice)
Yeah, turns out it's going to be a PC disc release at the moment... purchase all five eps from Telltale and they send ya a DVD containing the five eps plus bonus stuffs.

Actually, we probably wouldn't see a disc release on the Wii since the individual episodes are still available on WiiWare... maybe when (if) Season 2 starts up...
Until we find out for sure, I remain hesitant to download the rest of SBCG4AP... even though I REALLY want to play Episode 3...

How do the games stack up compared to the PC versions? Never took the chance to try out any Sam & Max episodes when I was on GameTap, lolz :(

Episode 3 is one of the best ones imo, though I personally loved 4 best. :D

Huh. Looks like Season 1 is on sale at the moment.

It's sorely tempting... But I just bought the Penny Arcade game last week on sale, and I doubt this will be the last time it'll be cheap. (Apparently Episode 4 was briefly available for free to subscribers to the Telltale newsletter.)
