Saturn model 1/model 2 question

Just wanted to know - I know there are two saturns (on with round buttons, one with oval buttons), but which is the model 1 and which is the model 2?

Plus, which controllers did they come with?

And are there any other differences (technical)?

model 1 has oval buttons and a better looking controller.model 2 has different controller .round buttons and is easy to mod.

I'm not sure which is which, but I know the oval button ones use a different laser ribbon cable assembly than the round button ones do. Mobo wise, there are at least 5 different versions, but only the two exterior variants (oval and round).
