Hey guys, I need some help finding real xbox controllers that are new. I ordered 4 off of Ebay that looked 100% legit for 30 dollars each, but they are not Official ones. The sticker on the bottom of the remote that normally has the barcode and Microsoft label just says "made in china"
Why are these so hard to find?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I just need 2 real S controllers that are 100% Genuine.
Whats sad is, the ones I ordered have the right logo on the controller, and the packaging was perfect, even the Microsoft hologram.

Microsoft hasn't produced controllers for the Xbox since 2005. You'll have a hard time coming up with new ones these days. Most of what you'll find online are fake knockoffs. The quality in these is rather poor.

Why are these so hard to find?
Because they've been out of stores for years. I recently found three factory sealed ones after searching for over two years. Your best bet would probably be to get them used at Gamestop for $10-15 each. Otherwise if you do find sealed new ones you could end up paying $50 a piece for them.
Also, this should be in the buying/selling thread.
Good luck, man. I was in the same shape a year or 2 ago myself. Whenever I find them, I hold onto them. I still play my original Xbox a lot.

I have a few of the original big ones still sealed, but that doesn't help you much I guess. Check some Radio Shacks. They have been known to have some old stuff sitting around. Good luck.

Never give up!! I have found original sealed SNES controllers (not the cheap knock off SNES II versions) so they still have to out there.

It's been my experience that the original "Duke" controllers that you pick up used at places like Gamestop are generally going to be in pretty new condition for the most part. When MS introduced the "S" controller a lot of people traded up right off the bat, so the used Dukes aren't typically going to see as much play on them as the others. I've got three of them I bought used and all of them seem to be about brand new.

I got 5 used Dukes recently and they look/feel almost new. Most people hate these but they are probably one of my favorite controllers. Big comfy grips, better black/white/start/back button layouts, and a cooler jewel.
