Man, he's sure going to miss out on a lot if he won't touch a game because it has a 13+ symbol on it. I've been playing plenty of games with guns since I was little and none of them turned me into a crazy.
You can't help it if his mom is over-protective though, so you probably shouldn't worry about it. :/

Hell, I think when I was 15, I got Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. I think we are looking at a parents'-basement-dweller-til-he's-32 case here.

When I was 15, there was a guy at my school who was OBSESSED with Turok. One day, I was hanging out at a friend's house and he came up in a conversation we were having. That reminded my friend about how he got annoyed the other day because the guy wouldn't stop talking about the next Turok game that was in the works.

(Aside from the Turok obsession, the guy wasn't that bad - in fact, he later sold two SNES games to me - Mega Man X and Alien vs. Predator. Mega Man X is still in the collection.)

Hmm... I think this person wouldn't like me... I got my first M rated game around that age.. Maken X.. the clerk didn't even care. Yay before parents went insane over nothing because other kids decided to be dicks and screw things up for the rest of us that were good and never hurt anyone.

Has no one else figured out that the OP is a troll? He may be too dippy to know he is, but there is a very special category of forum-goer that is a troll even when it is not intentional. He's posted essentially this same post before, just not as its own thread. Ignore him, please!

I was playing "Doom" at age 15, I doubt I'd find GH to be anywhere near "violent".

Or course I also watched Ah-nuld movies as a kid...and Robocop when I was 8 or 9.

Is it really all the bad though? Sure it is rather silly of him to think that way. All he said was it was to violent and everyone is entitled to their opinions. As long as he doesn't go trying to ban gun games i have no problem with it.

"You sure have a lot of PlayStation games."

"Yes, yes I do."

"I wish I had a PlayStation."

"Why don't you pick one up? They're free in large, specially marked boxes of cereal."

"My parents won't let me have one."

This guy was around 22. Even the Gord (http://www.actsofgord.com/Annoy/chapter03.php) can't help some people.
