I have no idea why this has been made so complicated from the original design of the Xbox but it is. While I can make seperate playlist they all have the same songs. And when I try to delete the songs from one playlist it deletes them from all playlist. On the original Xbox you could just go to each song on your hard drive, put a check next to the ones you wanted and move it into any playlist(or create a new one for it) that you liked. But they obviously didn't feel like making things that simple with the NXE. Any suggestions?

Set up your 360 for streaming between your Xbox and PC. Make the playlists on the PC. Play them on 360.

Much, much easier than trying to dick around with the 360's cumbersome music playlist making feature. Of course, if you don't have a PC or your computer doesn't play nice with your 360, you're hosed on that.

After much trial and error I figured it out. However, you can no longer put your song list in any order you like(they have to be alphabatized) and everytme you make a new soundtrack you have to go thru every song on your hard drive(I'm now up to 169 songs) and X out the ones you don't want on the new playlist. The original Xbox cd copier was a thousand times better than this one. Microsoft really dropped the ball here.
