Robot Penis on Moonwalker?

Okay. Let me get this straight: I dig Michael Jackson. I'm not knocking the guy, I'm sure he didn't have anything to do with designing the characters in MoonWalker, but has anyone else noticed the ED-209 looking apparatus the bad guys walk around in? It attacks by jabbing you with a fallus-shaped metal rod that comes from between its legs. I played the arcade version last night (great game, by the way) and I've never touched the Genesis version so I can't say if it's on it or not. Liking Michael Jackson's music may be enough cause to re-examine my life, and I'm certain that seeing metallic penises (or is that peni) on his game definitely is. I just hope I'm not the only one.

I can't comment on the peni, but most of his music was and always will be great. He really is a legendary songwriter and performer, and as much of a freak as he is now, that will never change.

I'd still rather have met Michael Jackson, Beer Hunter (R.I.P.).

And I gotta say: freak or not, Michael Jackson's music rocks (at least, most of it). To teel you the truth, I don't even believe the child abuse accusations; the way I see, it, the guy's obsession is to BE a kid, no to molest them.

I agree with that, thom. I just picked up the Number Ones CD and the DVD to go with it. My kids love it...my little girl passed on watching her new Strawberry Shortcake DVD to watch Michael Jackson again...for the 50th time.
The guys "pop up" later in the game. The other night was the first time I'd played it all the way through, so be patient and you'll see the robot penis in all its metallic glory.

Moonwalker is an awesome arcade game for both humor and fun. You can't beat a game where your "super move" is getting all the enemies on screen to dance in sync and then blow up........PRICELESS!

I'm pretty sure that, like Elvis, MJ never wrote any songs- it was mostly purchased or written for him. He was the singer/performer/dancer... There are a lot of collaborators on all those albums, so who knows?

That's interesting. For some reason I always thought he wrote a bunch of his own stuff, but I guess I don't know why. Well, I stand by my comments other than that part (maybe).

A quick internet search seems to suggest that he "wrote" most of his hit songs, but not all of them. Wiki says he dictated into a sound recorder.

MJ still does rock. His stuff got me into looking back and listening to the 80s music my parents listened to when i was a kid growing up. I love almost every one of his songs, I have most of his albums, but im missin Dangerous and his motown stuff.
