Hi guys,
I recently purchased the ROM files for Kartoon Kombat, an unreleased Sega Genesis game. I was finally able to transfer the files from the 3.5" floppy to my comp (one was corrupted and had to be recovered), but now I'm lost as to what I can do next. The 4 files are:
TOON.0
TOON.1
TOON.2
TOON.3
How can I join them together to run them on an emulator? I read about uCON being a good tool for this, but I can't seem to run it on my comp. What do you all use to join your Genesis ROM files so that they are usable in an emulator? Thanks for the help!

I use Hacha. I don't know if Jsplit also processes .0 files.

Try this:
http://www.filesplitter.org/
Never actually used it myself, but should work. Make sure you make backup copies of the files though before!

If they are just binary copies of the rom (not interleaved or anything), try this:
copy /b TOON.0 + TOON.1 + TOON.2 + TOON.3 TOON.BIN

I would have loved to, but it appears as though the 4th file is indeed corrupt and the ROM is unusable. Sucks because the person who owned it before me never backed it up, this one may be gone for good. I'm sending the floppy to a very capable individual to see if he has better luck at extracting the last file than I did.
Everyone has their own thoughts on people owning prototypes. Some demand them to be dumped, some lock them away in a closet never to be seen again. I don't give a shit about what people do with protos, but why not back it up so that it isn't lost forever?
I'll update this if anything new comes up...

I'm sorry to here this! Hopefully the file can be recovered some how.
