So... Being a huge Katamari fan, I didn't hesitate to purchase this one. Actually, I found out today that it came out yesterday, and it's still downloading as I type this.

Has anyone else played it yet? How original do you think it is? Is it as good as Katamari?

Holy crap, I'm eating the manual!

I haven't stopped laughing since I started playing. Great stuff.

Ok, I've watched a number of videos for this game.

Please, for the love of god, can some one tell me WTF is HAPPENING!!! :P

I am hearing the aural cues that refer to stretching and nom'ing, but I just don't get WTF you actually supposed to be doing to progress. Help my brain, please.

I just played for an hour and don't know WTF is happening! You eat things, then "expel" things, only to eat them again. It's like Katamari, except you eat instead of roll, and the controls are a little more complex.

I think that the goal is just to continue eating, which adds up globally from all players. The global totals affect the size of GIRL, and when she gets big enough, stuff happens. That's all I know.

This game seems to have crossed the line from "fun" to "intentionally obtuse".

Really? I haven't heard anyone who's played the game saying that.

I got it, it's a fun game if you're in the mood for a game that isn't going to lead you around or even give you definite goals and you just want to explore/mess around. Though I probably shouldn't take NyQuil before playing it. I think I started hearing Purple Haze in the background... :b

Finished getting all the trophies earlier today, it was pretty fun. I'll probably play it again once the moon is unlocked.

I got it yesterday, but I didn't find it very fun at all. The controls are kind of awkward. I'll give it a try again later though, maybe I'll get it this time.

That's funny... I heard Kansas' "Dust in the Wind."

The trick to Noby Noby Boy is to think of it as a toy, and not a game. Like silly putty or the unlockable toys in Wario Ware.

I've had fun with it so far, but haven't had a chance to play it much yet due to SF4

I had high hopes for this game, but unfortunately, the controls are made of pure suck. It's fun once you get the hang of it- when you're not fighting the made-by-Sonic-Team-camera- but really I don't see it having any lasting appeal.

Which is a shame, really. :(

Yeah, the camera can get wonky, especially when your Boy gets to be really long. But the game's only 5 bucks and takes up like 400MB, I'm not gonna complain too much about it.

When GIRL gets big enough to reach the moon, the Noby Noby Boy DLC unlocks for everyone to purchase. Dead Serious. So in reality, the DLC could come out at any time.

The moon has been reached. It's not DLC - you can get to it by selecting the planet option on the screen where you report Boy's length to Girl.

I haven't had a chance to play the moon yet, but supposedly if you're looking for the Prince to get that trophy, he pops up a lot more on the moon levels.

Ah, alrighty, my friend was indeed wrong then.

I gave this a shot, stretched boy out a few times and flung him around, realized I had no idea how to eat things, then turned it off.

It looks like fun, it really does.

There is a manual in the game that you can get to by pressing select. But there's really no "right" or "wrong" way to play the game. It's more of just the experience of having a "sandbox" to play around in.

Neat. I will actually fire up the PS3 for this.

Has anyone eaten the entire manual yet? I can't help but wonder if there's some secrets opened up through it.

Dear Lord, I'm convinced that trying to say ANYTHING about this game is going to sound wrong. Maybe it's not interactive art, it's just an excuse for us to talk about eating manuals, accidentally shooting our butt off, crapping out combined creatures, and increasing BOY's length. Seriously, take a step back and think about it!

But how does one eat things? If I knew that much I'm sure I'd have more fun with it...

It doesn't look like something I would play a lot, but it does look, at least, like a fun novelty game.

L2, but not all the way. Pushing L2 all the way "holds" your head.
