Sealed Tengen Games

Are these sealed just like regular nes games (i.e. the horizontal seam)? I have a tengen game that is shrinkwrapped w/o the seam on the back and would prefer not to open it to find out that it was new. :P

I have a sealed Gauntlet (tengen unlicensed) that I know for certain is authentic, it has no seam across the back. I would assume all the unlicensed Tengen games are this way, where as the few that were licensed probably do.

Not all licensed NES games have that seam. I used to have a Caveman Games that did not have the seam.

I believe because the Tengen games weren't licensed and therefore not manufactured at one of the official production plaints for Nintendo, none of their games had the special back seam found on most NES games.

I have a sealed Tengen Tetris cart that doesn't have the seam either. I've always wondered if it was legit or a reseal.

I agree, the quality is shown even in there packaging methods. I would say that the games are legit.

from my experience the unlicensed games were sealed however and can vary greatly from Nintendo ones. If its a good tight seal I would say its legit but a pic would be nice. Everyone else is saying no seam so go with that, no way there are that many resealed tengens.
