Any guesses as to how much this will fetch at auctions end? There's 5 whole days to go. The CD version went for almost $700.00 (friggin' idiots!). I paid $110.00 for mine, but this guy is gunning for higher stakes. Also notice the bidders' IDs are protected. WHY?!?! WHY!?!?

Some people hide their bidders on high profile auctions for several reasons.

1. They don't want 3rd parties to contact them and offer it at a lower price.

2. They don't want people who would never pay to bid JUST to get their name up in lights also known as "glory bidding"

3. If 2 people know each other they sometimes won't bid against each other.

I'm sure you can think of more non-devious reasons if you try. Then there are of course the devious reasons why someone would do this BUT you can't assume it.
