Not a problem. Everyone needs two 360's. That way you can alternate between them. You can have one to play while the other one is being repaired. I wish I were joking.

I have a black elite that I bought 4/29/07 when they came out- almost 2 years and it's still alive :)

Sold the 120gb hdd on day one to front most of the cost because I had a 20gb, with the game installs, and me already having RE5 preordered on PS3 (CE) and 360 (Regular) this is a no brainer. I preordered it at gamecrazy since they're open later than gamestop, I can swing by after work and get my RE on.

Well I spoke too soon- I was just playing some Onechanbara on the 360 and my system froze on me 8 times- I thought at first it was the new controller I got (I had it plugged in with the play and charge), but when i took it out, no dice. Then I thought it was the game install on the HDD, so I deleted the 3.2gb save- no dice.

Not sure if Onechanbara has known glitches, but whatever the case is- I'm glad that this new one is coming now!

Mine Elite just started acting up too. It's on the way back from TX by now. My wife was playing some Miner: Dig Deep and it kept making the system go wonky. Then bam, E74 one red ring. I've only had mine since 11/07

That sucks, I just requested a box for my RRoD elite- at least I only have to wait another 2 weeks for the new system, now I just need to figure out what I'll do with the refurbished elite I get sent back.

There are suckers born every minute.........Microsoft is not even trying. The mt dew xbox 1 , the halo xbox 1 now they were some nice LE. I think the box it comes in is more of a collectors item then the console, and they already have those red controllers out.

But no freaking logo?? How do they expect me to pay $399 for a limited edition system without an Umbrella or RE 5 logo? Plus my 120 gig is already a jasper(I replaced the 60 gig hd with a 120 one). So theres really no incentive for me. I really wish they had put a logo on it. It would have made it seem official. Now it just seems like another Hong Kong bootleg/knockoff system:shameful:

I take extreme care of my things and this is my fifth 360 because they are all shit. This one has been running for almost 3 years now flawlessly; it is the holy grail of 360's LOL

He is getting 10 mint games from me + 360 pro(w/ 20gb hd) + 2 wireless controllers + headset + 1 month Xbox Live card + 512mb memorycard. This 360 also still has an extended warranty I purchased on it for more than another year. I've known Mike over 15 years and if the 360 bit the dust he would have no problems getting it repaired/new one/money back from me.

I'm the game collector/pc technician and he is the plumber; we always help each other out. I build him systems for cost and he does plumbing around my house.

We got 16 of them, and were told (via internal memo) that it was a one-time buy for the company. Once stores have sold their stock, they're not getting any more. *shrug*

My original post is NOT misleading because I had no need to post specifics of a trade other than mentioning my friend offered me $200 which is why I seriously considered a new system package instead of buying it later on down the road. I only had to clarify it when you came in here trouncing about commenting about me as if you know me well enough to tell me I'm ripping off a friend. I also agree. Currently my Black Elite is about to be shipped out to get repaired (and I had it less than a year, PLUS it had been fixed once under warranty so that's TWICE in a year it broke and I'm still having to pay) but if this one was any more special than the color I would definitely sell some stuff to get one. It actually works better for me this way because I like black over red, plus the limited edition RE5 pack looks better than the plain copy that comes with the red combo.

I picked up mine today. Just got done hooking it up. Poor white one ended up in the box for the time being. Apparently they are hard to find around me. The guy at gamestop said only one store had one left. I didn't get mine from Gamestop, but I had to go over there to pick up my collector's edition...which is a let down, much like the Street Fighter CE.

I have put 8 hours on my system playing RE5 with the game installed on the HDD, and so far no issues- the system also runs *much* cooler than my old one. If I have a problem with this I will be very angry, since my black elite died the day I preordered this system.

No problem using my 360, spent a chunk of the day yesterday playing Guitar Hero: World Tour. And the unit does remain cool, even after several hours of play.

I'm glad to hear there are some people that haven't had any problems because at first it seemed like there might be a widespread issue with these units. A friend of mine went into BB today and saw about 15 on display but also noticed three that were returned because of problems.
