If this is like an Amplitude/FreQuency game, I am going to shit myself. FOR REALS.

It looks like it might be...

They need to make a DDR on psp. Hell they made the GBC one . I have that one but it don't work right.

ehhhh the whole fun thing about rock band and guitar hero is the interaction with the unique controllers. This is basically just the memory game simon that plays music in the background. This is the kind of franchise that really doesn't belong on a portable.

Yeah, i agree with MrSparkle, unless they SOMEHOW bring the instrument novelties to the PSP, it just wont be that great. Kinda useless. Some things just shouldn't be ported.

That's really odd o_O I would hate to play any of these kinds of games on a portable.

I'll stick with the console versions, thank you very much.

There's a couple homebrew DDR apps that I've played which are actually pretty decent. They're basically just ports of Stepmania, so you load whatever simfiles you want and play.

You can already download the game "Beats" from the Playstation Network on your PSP, and put any mp3s you want on your card and play any music you like. I would think that is much better than a port of Rock Band. And the game is only $5.

and of course there's the Japan only but very import friendly DJ Max Portable series of which there are now 4 games, 1 & 2, black square and classique.

And they are probably the best portable beamani games i've ever played!!

So rock band? no thankyou.

If this is actually a Frequency/Amplitude style game, I might actually start playing the PSP.

Don't worry, I'm with you man. A new Amplitude would be awesome... so awesome in fact that I would seriously consider buying a psp for it.
