They're done. I haven't bought a third party peripheral in awhile, but back when they always had the best third party.

Yeah, the InterAct/Datel/MadCatz/Pelican war was the ugliest scene in the history of the peripheral biz. Not that I minded watching InterAct kick the bucket, since I was dropped from the company's product list because I dared to write a negative review of an InterAct peripheral.

There was some ironic company placement at this year's E3: Pelican (the losers of the Peripheral War) was exiled to a tiny second-floor suite, directly overlooking the Datel booth below. That had to hurt.

The pending update of Datel's Action Replay software is staggeringly good, by the way, with all kinds of groovy little features. I wish these devices would let you hack your own cheats, but I suppose code-hacking, like everything else about 21st-century gaming, has evolved to a point where only a select few can comprehend it.
