Do you ever find yourself playing a game, then saying, "Man. I really like this character. Too bad the game isn't based on them or doesn't include enough about them..."

That's kinda how I feel with Cammy from Street Fighter. Sure, that game Cannon Spike came out for the Dreamcast, but it doesn't really completely revolve around her as much as I'd like it too. I would love to see an RPG or an action game that revolves around Cammy, from her days as a Shadoloo drone to the Delta Red member. I really think that'd be sweet.

What spinoff game would you like to see? Vincent got his spinoff game from FFVII, but I heard that game isn't that great.

In Ninja Gaiden 2 on the NES I always wanted to play as Robert.

There were characters in the Street Fighter II games and the early Mortal Kombat games who I wouldn't have minded controlling in a side scrolling beat-em-up game. Guile would have been great fun to use in a Final Fight type setting.

Wouldn't have minded seeing Amy Rose (Sonic) get her own game.

Additionally, I know this concept was an epic fail on CD-i but I always wanted an official game (done by Nintendo) in which you control Princess Zelda 100% of the time.

It wouldn't need to be official canon or a regular entry in the Zelda series but if you can have scrubs like Yoshi, Luigi and Wario getting their own Mario spinoff games then why not let Princess Zelda or Princess Peach have their fun?

Zelda's Adventure? (I mean, sure, everyone hates it, but it still exists)

I would personally love to see a Paper Luigi game. Luigi kept talking about all his adventures in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and they sounded almost like more fun that the game itself.

And I'd like to see Geno from Super Mario RPG come back. A game of his own would be a lot of fun.

Let's see...ideas for good spin-off games...

I'd like a Marvel Alliance spin-off where you play a game as the Marvel villians. (They might be already making or have made one of these games. I don't really keep up with the news)

I'd like to see a game about Slippy from the Star Fox series. You know? Where he tries to show the rest of the team he's not a useless dope?

I long to play games where the character is so brutally stupid or incompetent that I love them. You know? Where the character isn't cool or smart or tough? They are just basically go around doing whatever is the worst idea or dumbest possible thing to do? A sort of "Patrick the Starfish" or "Homer Simpson" character. Slippy is the closest thing I could think of to a character like that from a popular video game franchise. Also, Prinnies from Disgaea are sort of like that, but they got their spin-off game.

I think we are due for another Elder Scrolls spin-off. (Remember Redguard and uh...Battlesphere?) Maybe a Strategic RPG or an Empire building game would be fun? One of my big problems with the Elder Scroll series has been scale. All of the battles and events are small (Although sometimes the stakes are high). It would be fun to see events where there were more people than just your character and whoever you happened to be hitting with your sword involved.

I'd like another game set in the Skies of Arcadia world. C'mon Sega sort it out.

I kind of like the idea of "Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?" for PSP based on the Disgaea games.

If your idea of fantastic is boring monotonous stages made into a collectathon due to rescueing the toads running around. The only good stage in the game is the very last stage because it actually had some platforming.

I didn't die once in Princess Peach. Got all the toads and then once I beat the game, it said there were more toads to rescue as more got put in each stage. I sold it right then because the game was bad enough the first time. No thank you just going through all the stages again just to complete it 100%.

A solo Protoman game back in the old days woulda been cool.

I'll ditto Peach being a good game, well worth the effort checking out.

I feel like spinning two series together. I think this could make an interesting game: LEGO Tomb Raider.

Rouge the Bat needs her own spinoff title. Face it, she doesn't really belong with the rest of the Sonic cast anyway, being an adult and hyper-sexualized in full clothing amidst a cast of teenage boys who have full body fur. It might put an end to her flirting with the teenage boys(itself kinda creepy) and might force the writers to treat her better(her Sonic 20006 persona was good, most every other game she's got a brain the size of a peanut).

Actually, forget spinoff. Gier her a separate franchise, reboot the character. No conection to Sonic whatsoever. Turn it into a spy-themed game aimed at western audiences(because strong female characetrs aren't well-liked in Japan anyway, which is no doubt why she's usually portrayed as brainless). I'm sure the "Sonic Character A should date Sonic Character B" types would whine about this but they're unimportant anyway.

Though given how bad all the other Sonic spinoffs have failed miserably, it probably won't happen.

It wouldn't be my first choice, but I wonder why they never did a Mog spinoff from the Final Fantasy games. That seems like something the Japanese market would be all over.

It would be cool to see a Devil May Cry-style spinoff of Samurai Showdown's Genjuro.

Or a Metroid-vania game where you play as Red XIII from FFVII.

I'd love to see some sort of a spin-off with my favorite character in the Zelda series (aside from Link, of course). With all the music games coming out for the Wii and DS, I'm surprised they haven't made one incorporating Guru Guru (http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Guru_Guru).

Also, where you play as a Goron (not Majora's Mask) would be kind of cool, too.

Magus from Chrono Trigger!

That would make my life.

Some people say spinoffs are stupid and ruin the original thing. But deep down inside, we all know how damn cool they are.

I think this could make an interesting game: LEGO Tomb Raider.

They'd need a couple of ... custom LEGOs.

As for spinoffs (of a spinoff), I was always surprised we never saw a Captain N game. He was pretty big in Saturday morning cartoon terms, for a year or so, and Nintendo U.S. could have cashed in a fistful of dollars if they spat out something simple that starred the Cap'n and featured all the various mascot characters seen in the cartoon.

I also remember thinking, at one time, that the Cyberball athletes could have been repurposed into an elite black ops force for a squad-based combat game (similar to how Star Wars: Republic Commando turned out, but with a bit more diversity between team members).

Second on Magus from Chrono Trigger, that would be a marvelous game.

Wouldn't mind a spin off of Bio Shock from the Atlas point of view.

I could also find myself interested in some sort of FFVII spin off dealing with everyone's favorite villain.

I'd like to play a spin off of The Guy Game where you control the girl that sued them in a frogger-style mini game, getting bonus points for everytime she goes "splat" in traffic.

More realistically I'd love to play a Halo spin off game where you get to control Sarge barking out orders and taking action in actual fps combat.

Maybe an Monster Rancher style game featuring Alisia Dragoon and her various animal friends? Mix it in with action levels (ala Heavenly Sword or the like)...would make for a cool game.

There was this cool character in Sega Superstar Tennis...Alex Kidd. I'd love to see him break from the tennis formula and star in his own game. Maybe a platformer, or something. Hell, even a BMX game would be cool.

I always wanted a Valis RPG!!!
Valis had the music, the characters, the epic story, the well crafted world, the pioneering cutscenes. Wolfteam could have hit BIG here but nothing ever happened... :(

I also would LOVE an action game starring Rika from Phantasy Star IV. Or maybe a fighting game starring all the Phantasy Star characters! I can just hear the cheesy arcade voice at the title screen yelling "Phantasy Fighters Ultra!!!!!"

Oh oh!! I would love to see a Pokemon style RPG from the perspective of Brock, him being a Pokemon breeder instead of trainer. I think that would be cool!, having little pokemon babies running around lol.
