I am talking about entire games that can be completed in under 4 or 5 seconds.

maybe a 1 point match of combat (or similar). All these I can think of are 2-player point-based. A Busido Blade match is often that short, but it also has a separate single player story mode.

That's all I got.

Duckhunt on the NES?

Start game, shoot duck(s), game over.

Only stuff I can think of that legitimately comes that close are the microgames in the Warioware series.

I can't think of anything shorter. Track & Field type games have all the various events, so, like Wario Ware, it doesn't compete, although each event itself is quite short.

I would mention Head On and some of Sega's early arcade games (like Tranquilizer Gun), but although the gameplay cycle is quite short (i.e. shoot animal, drag it back to the funvan), you can play these for a while if you're good enough.

There's Blue Shark, a game I played a bit recently and got pretty decent at. Its length is maybe a minute long, although you can win a free play at least once (it doesn't add to your score though so maybe it could be counted as a separate play).

Stumped. Cooking Mama mini slice up games and Wario Ware go quickly but not the full game. My Pilot Wings game goes fast mainly because it is messed up and you do a nose dive uncontrollably ending the stage in seconds.

When someone plays Looping for the first time. Usually takes about 10 seconds to smash all three planes instantly.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read the first post right, you're going for properly completing a game.

If you practiced enough, you could probably beat Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle on the 2600 in less than a minute.

Can't think of any...unless dying three times in less than 5 seconds counts.

Minesweeper. Fastest I've died is on the second click.

I think the OP is talking about completing a game fast, not dying. :)

Hmmm, then I'll have to list something else. There's not too many games available that are that short.

This has to be the shortest game ever, just click on the red square to win. :)

I have never figured out how to even play Dragster and I've owned it since I was 4. If the car ever moved, it was just shit luck.
